Random stuff

Random stuff:

1. Two major milestones in the past week:
-I had my first Big Mac...loved it!
-Tried strawberry ice cream...loved it!

2. We found a permanent home for "da bird", the foster cockatiel I brought home last month.

3. The evening croak of a frog is kind of nice. The chorus of 100 frogs at 2am is just plain annoying. I wish the stream would dry up already!

4. I posted a couple new videos on You Tube...one from yesterday's ride and another of Daisy climbing the stairs.

Over the hill! Well, almost.

I'm 3/4 of the way over the hill...yep, the big 3-0. Scary age aside I had a great day and Eric suprised me with a new 'cross bike :)

The joys of owning a home

Why is it that all of our home repairs involve water? First it was the washing machine, then the hot water heater, and then the water line to our icemaker. Now something is leaking onto our front porch. Arrrghhhhhhhhhh!

Boatin' time

Robin, Eric and I went out for a nice paddle today on Lake Sammamish. The water was like glass!
